LIES: TRAFFICKING IN ANTIQUITIES."
On Thursday, March 25th, from 6 to
8 PM, in the Auditorium of the Speed Art Museum, Professor Jodi
Magness, distinguished archaeologist from UNC-Chapel Hill, and
documentary film maker Gary Glassman of Providence Pictures will
speak about the antiquities trade in Israel This event is
co-sponsored by the KY Society of the Archaeological Institute of
America and the Department of Fine Arts of the University.
On Friday, March 26th in the Auditorium of the Speed Art
Museum from 7-9:00pm, Gary Glassman will screen his recent
documentary, "The Bible's Buried Secrets", on Friday, March 26th,
from 7 to 9 PM. Hill show an except from this film on Thursday
night.
